Bruno Tonioli praised his energy but said he \u201cdidn\u2019t hit all the notes,\u201d while Alesha Dixon admitted she preferred his audition. Defending himself, Mickey revealed he had wanted to sing one of his original songs but hinted he was blocked from doing so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI sing with passion and that is all that matters,\u201d Mickey told the audience. \u201cAnd yes, it was like a tribute to Freddie, but I sing my own songs, and I wanted to sing my own song.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Viewers at home were furious, accusing ITV of \u201cstitching him up.\u201d Many took to social media claiming the show was \u201cfixed\u201d and that Mickey had been \u201crobbed\u201d of a fair chance. One fan fumed, \u201cThey should have allowed Mickey to sing his own song.
