{"id":6265,"date":"2026-01-08T15:56:25","date_gmt":"2026-01-08T15:56:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/?p=6265"},"modified":"2026-01-08T15:56:32","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T15:56:32","slug":"im-ready-to-fight-drag-race-uk-vs-the-world-season-3-cast-revealed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/?p=6265","title":{"rendered":"\u201cI\u2019m ready to fight!\u201d: Drag Race UK vs the World season 3 cast revealed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Season three of <em>RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race UK vs the World<\/em> is serving up a killer cast of finalists, fan-favourites, and lip-sync assassins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 8 January, BBC Three revealed the 10 queens competing for the coveted title of \u201cQueen of the Mothertucking World,\u201d a spot in the Hall of Fame alongside Blu Hydrangea and Tia Kofi, and a \u00a350,000 cash prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Featuring queens from the American, British, German, Canadian, Mexican, Swedish, Filipino, and Thai franchises, season three will see the return of RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and Graham Norton and Alan Carr as regular panellists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joining them on the panel this season are <em>The Bear<\/em> star Will Poulter, pop music icon Anastacia, British TV legend Russell T Davies, <em>Amandaland<\/em>\u2019s Lucy Punch, Pussycat Dolls members Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt, and music icons Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward of Bananarama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Drag Race UK vs the World<\/em> premieres Monday 27 January on BBC Three and iPlayer at 9pm. Time to stop talking and start gawking \u2013 meet the 10 queens of season three below (bios courtesy of BBC Three).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kate Butch (<em>Drag Race UK<\/em> season 5)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gaytimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/katebutch.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1461477\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:780px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cKate Butch wheeled into the werkroom with an effervescent theatrical flourish, firmly establishing themself as a comedy queen, making all the judges laugh heartily, and most crucially, Mama Ru. A master of perfectly judged silliness, the Yorkshire beauty thrived in the acting and comedy challenges, serving up \u201ca wild Kate Bush\u201d for their Snatch Game, and taking home a RuPeter badge win for their melodramatic acting skills in Holedark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cKate exited the race after a little stumble on the makeover challenge, but they\u2019ve been winning in life ever since with a flourishing stand up and theatre career, and multiple film and TV appearances. Kate has even made their mark on the TV quiz scene. With the <em>Shrek<\/em> films as their specialist subject, Kate took home the winning trophy on <em>Celebrity Mastermind<\/em> \u2013 whilst dressed as the Dragon from <em>Shrek<\/em>, because, why not?! Kate is ready to slay for the UK! Describing their drag as \u201cglamour and camp: glamping\u201d Kate is indeed the Queen of glamping.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sminty Drop (<em>Drag Race UK<\/em> season 4)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"695\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/002.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6269\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:744px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/002.jpg 695w, https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/002-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/002-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/002-450x253.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 695px) 100vw, 695px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSminty Drop burst onto <em>RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race UK<\/em> with a cocktail of chaos, and ice cool fashion. Constantly praised by Ru and the judges for her creative avant garde runway looks, Sminty\u2019s look was certainly unique, with her BBC runway take on the <em>Antiques Road Show<\/em> proving to be a memorable hit with the judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Lancashire lass also brought a lot of charisma to the race and even after a fateful improv challenge, Sminty turned her saddest moment to joy, by bidding the cast and judges farewell with an unforgettable sad twerk as her final exit. The \u201csad-twerk exit moment\u201d caught fire with the <em>Drag Rac<\/em>e community, and thus, a <em>Drag Race<\/em> icon was born. Since then, Sminty has sad-twerked her way round the world, releasing music and strutting the runways of Paris Fashion Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Zahirah Zapanta (<em>Drag Race UK<\/em> season 6)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"695\" height=\"391\" src=\"https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/05.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6270\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:752px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/05.jpg 695w, https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/05-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/05-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/4guysmagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/05-450x253.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 695px) 100vw, 695px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cZapanta entered the werkroom dripping in furs and diamonds \u2013 a befitting entrance for the Nottingham beauty queen, who went on to showcase herself as a talented seamstress, and a magician with the make-up brush. Often the loudest in the workroom, Zahirah is no wallflower, and her unfiltered commentary and team spirit made her a firm fan favourite. However, a ghoulish girl band challenge turned out to be Zahirah\u2019s undoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBorn in the Philippines, Zahirah\u2019s drag aesthetic is inspired by the stunning Filipino beauty pageant queens of her youth mixed with a little bit of modern-day British club kid. Zahirah is undoubtedly a powerhouse of a beauty queen, and with her initial <em>Drag Race<\/em> journey cut short, she plans to bring out the big guns for an epic comeback. Zahirah has a clear game tactic, declaring: \u201cI ain\u2019t scared of none of these girls. This time, I\u2019m ready to fight tooth and nail.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mariah Balenciaga (<em>Drag Race<\/em> season 3, <em>All Stars 5<\/em>)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gaytimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/mariah.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1461483\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:771px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cRepresenting America and the mothership, here comes Mariah! A polished glamazon with an acerbic wit, Mariah is an OG legend in every sense. Aged 18, she made her debut on New York\u2019s ballroom scene in 1999, where she quickly became a legend of the scene. And in 2011, when <em>Drag Race<\/em> was still in its early infancy, Mariah was chosen by Ru to compete in season three. The Atlanta beauty served up glamourpuss and one-liners in equal measure, establishing herself as one of the famed \u201cearly season girls\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNine years later, <em>All Stars<\/em> came knocking and Mariah returned to the mainstage, bringing grace, class, and maturity to the proceedings. Her self-penned powerful song \u201cStains on the Wall\u201d left an indelible mark on many and garnered a showering of praise from Ru, and guest judge, Ricky Martin. In spite of a shock early exit, the Grand Dame remain undeterred and views her longevity as her super power. At 44, Mariah is the eldest of the cast, but with 27 years of drag evolution under her belt, she\u2019s undoubtedly the most experienced of the cast: \u201cY\u2019all are going to get Mariah 3.0,\u201d she says. \u201cI don\u2019t care what it takes, I\u2019m doing it!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gawdland (<em>Drag Race Thailand<\/em> season 3)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gaytimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/gawdland.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1461471\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:780px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cGawdland may be petite, but he has a colossal reputation on Bangkok\u2019s drag scene. A formidable glamazon, Gawdland sailed through <em>Drag Race Thailand<\/em>, with only a brief stumble in the Snatch Game, collecting wins in the Rusical and Makeover challenge, on his way to the final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWith a flawless face card, razor sharp drag, and a performance style powered by pure adrenaline, he embodies the creativity that Thai drag is celebrated for. Now entering the UK and global arena for the first time, Gawdland plans to be \u201cas crazy as possible,\u201d adding: \u201cThis is not RuPaul\u2019s best friend race\u2026 I\u2019m here to win.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fontana (<em>Drag Race Sweden<\/em> season 1)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gaytimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/fontana.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1461465\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:780px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cBorn in Brazil, Fontana moved to Sweden aged twenty, where they quickly established themselves as one of Sweden\u2019s finest drag queens serving up high octane performances, and a vibrant look inspired by their Brazilian roots. Fontana\u2019s drag aesthetic is Brazilian splendour blended with fashion, and Scandinavian chic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cPraised for their beauty skills, and polished looks, Fontana is a passionate and formidable racer, who made it all the way through to the final of their race. In their own words Fontana says: \u201cI\u2019m not here to play dirty, but I am here to take out the trash. I am ready to fight\u2026\u201d\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Melinda Verga (<em>Canada\u2019s Drag Race<\/em> season 4)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gaytimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/melinda.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1461489\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:780px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMelinda Verga is an old-school entertainer with bags of charisma, as evidenced by his chosen drag name \u2013 see the Spanish translation! Storming his season to become one of Canada\u2019s most talked-about queens, Melinda Verga is a force to be reckoned with. His meltdowns and unfiltered interviews made him instantly meme-able.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMelinda showcased adept comedy skills by securing the Snatch Game win and after surviving lip sync after lip sync, the audiences admired his passion and nerve. Since <em>Drag Race<\/em>, the Filipino Canadian queen has become a Canadian reality TV star, appearing on <em>Traitors Canada<\/em> where yet again, he famously didn\u2019t hold back. The experience has clearly informed his game tactics.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Serena Morena (<em>Drag Race Mexico<\/em> season 1)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gaytimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/serena.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1461507\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:780px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSerena Morena had an unforgettable run on the first ever season of <em>Drag Race Mexico<\/em>. Finishing eighth and winning legions of fans with her charisma, uniqueness, and a fondness to shock audiences, Serena is a cheeky gal, who still lives with her mum!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAn enthusiastic siren, Serena is more than ready to represent Mexico in the Olympics of Drag. Thrilled to be in the UK \u201cespecially for the men\u201d, Serena brings the promise of chaos, warning the competition: \u201cI\u2019m a nasty lady. I\u2019m Mexican. Don\u2019t mess with me!\u201d\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minty Fresh (<em>Drag Race Philippines<\/em> season 1)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gaytimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/minty.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1461495\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:780px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn 2022, Minty Fresh walked into <em>Drag Race Philippines<\/em> and made an immediate impact. A frontrunner from the start, Minty sealed an immediate win for the talent show and went on to take another win for the design challenge. Garnering huge praise for his ultra stylish stunning looks, it was only a fateful girl group challenge that led to his exit at the semi-finals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFamed for serving a stunning face card and polished looks, Minty is a proud representative of the fierce Filipino drag scene. In fact, for Minty, it\u2019s a matter of national pride. Minty promises to serve a spectacle: \u201cIt\u2019s a full production, baby. You\u2019ll be obsessed. I\u2019m not a showgirl, I\u2019m a headliner.\u201d\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Only Naomy (<em>Drag Race Germany<\/em> season 1)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gaytimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/noamy.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1461501\" style=\"aspect-ratio:1.7775413030827627;width:780px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe Only Naomy \u2013 Naomy for short \u2013 is a German supermodel. You may have already guessed that their name is inspired by another famous supermodel, with whom they share many similar traits including a beautiful face, and a statuesque presence. Naomy made their <em>Drag Race<\/em> debut on the first ever season of <em>Drag Race Germany<\/em> in 2023, where they received praise for their deft make up artistry and edgy looks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cExiting at the Rusical challenge, Naomy didn\u2019t get the chance to show off their full bag of tricks, but this time round they are ready to go the full distance for Germany.
