A note regarding the just-released December 2025 issue of IN.
It’s with heavy hearts that we share that the December 2025 digital issue of IN Magazine will be our last. After 15 remarkable years and 127 issues, we have had to bring this chapter to a close.
Over the past year, the landscape for 2SLGBTQI+ media and community initiatives has shifted in profound ways. As corporate partners have stepped back from supporting queer spaces and storytelling, the ripple effects have been felt across our community and we are no exception. These changes have made it increasingly challenging for us to sustain the work we love, the work we’ve been so proud to share with you.
What has never wavered, though, is our gratitude. To our readers, contributors, collaborators, community partners, and past corporate partners: thank you for standing with us, for trusting us with your stories, and for championing queer voices in Canada with such passion and heart.
Inside the December 2025 issue you will find: A look at the decline of AIDS organizations; The true story of Brandon Teena; How Winnipeg’s CIN and Nine Circles Community Health Centre are reimagining care; Sasha Leigh Henry’s feature film debut sheds light on a Black queer narrative rarely seen in Canada; 20 years later and Brokeback Mountain is still impactful; Interviews with Russell Tovey, Kawika Guillermo, Drew Droege, Marc Bendavid, Eric McCormack, and Revry’s co-founders; Queer love heats up in an intimate reimagining of Romeo and Juliet; and much more.
Thank you for 15 unforgettable years. Your support has meant everything to us.
